【ニュアンス解説】
前回の帰宅時間に続き、今回は「今日の予定」を尋ねる定番フレーズの練習です。
plans と複数形になる点に注意しましょう。
【例文】
1. 多忙な息子
A. What are your plans for today?
＜今日の予定はどうなってるの？＞
B. I'm meeting some friends for lunch, and later tonight I'm going to a concert with Lisa.
＜友達とランチして、その後夜はリサとコンサートに行くよ。＞
A. It sounds like you have a busy day.
＜忙しそうな日ね。＞
2. 週末の予定
A. What are our plans for the weekend?
＜私たちの週末の予定ってどうなってる？＞
B. Other than your dentist appointment, we don't have any plans. Why?
＜君の歯医者の予約以外は、何も予定ないよ。どうして？＞
A. Well, Bob and Lisa want to come over to our house.
＜実はね、ボブとリサが、うちに来たがってるの。＞
for tomorrow, for the weekend, for Christmas など、単語を変えてどんどん応用してみてくださいね。
